You probably want a TV or music player to provide entertainment, but these days, most people use personal devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones to get by. Decorations can come later, but you probably don’t want bare walls either. A bookcase or some floating shelves are the perfect decor starting point to hold your knick-knacks and souvenirs.
Miscellaneous things for a new house
A home will have other spaces like hallways and entryways, and you may need a rug or two and a small table to drop your wallet, purse and keys when you get home.
