What others are doing – and why media matters. If not, there is the blogosphere
A Romanian journalist (finally) asked me about other countries examples of use of Open Source and Free Software in public administration.
Here is a report about Spain – "Open Source Software for the Development of the Spanish Public Administration. An Overview. 2008".
Btw, I just received a link from a blogger – you will find there a humble opinion about Romanian media and Open Sources & Free Software subjects. (Sorry, the video is in Romanian)

Uitati-va ce concordanta este intre cele doua: cheltuielile cu
personalul pe lunile ianuarie – noiembrie 2008 sunt in primul document
cca 7 milioane RON, iar in bugetul rectificat (al doilea document) sunt
aproape duble (peste 13 milioane) ! Un calcul grosier da aproximativ
10.000 RON /angajat/luna ! Unde-o fi justificarea, ca pe site-ul
agentiei nu prea se vede ?
