Din partea ROSDEV o importanta initiativa FLOSS romaneasca: “ROSDEV 2008 s-a incheiat si pot sa va spun ca in Romania se observa un interes crescand pentru open source. Numarul proiectelor open source prezente la ROSDEV a crescut, au aparut proiecte noi intre 2007 si 2008. De asemeni audienta pe parcursul zilei s-a mentinut ridicata, ceea ce inseamna ca cei din sala au fost captivati de prezentarile dezvoltatorilor open source din Romania.
