Pe vremea cand ma aflam in tara si luasem hotararea de a emigra, ma intrebam adeseori cum arata locurile unde ma voi duce, care este viata de zi cu zi intr-un oras ca Vancouver. Nu eram interesat de prezentarile turistice sau economice, mai degraba as fi vrut sa simt, sa vad, sa traiesc cumva ceea ce se intampla in viata unui om obisniut intr-o zi obisnuita, acolo departe, unde urma sa am un nou inceput. Si nu prea gaseam imagini si informatii de genul acesta.

Cu cateva zile in urma, mi-a venit ideea de a lua camera digitala si de a face cateva poze pe drumul pana la servici (flash format, 1.9MB).

I spent the latest days implementing Drupal for eLiberatica website. One of the challenges of the website is to have it bilingual. A lot of local Romanian websites dealing with international conferences are only in English.

From my point of view, localization is a very important issue, especially when speaking of Open Sources and Free Software.

I found a nice working module for Drupal named localizer. Roberto Gerola is the author and I wish to thank him using this occasion for helping me and giving me proper advice every time when I was in need. He is planning to release another interesting module for Drupal soon.
